2025 Toyota Camry Goes Exclusively Hybrid

Go Green in the New Exclusively Hybrid Camry

The upcoming 2025 Toyota Camry will be exclusively equipped with the 5th Generation Toyota Hybrid system, and Irwin Toyota is here to tell you all about it.

The new Camry comes with either FWD or AWD and the AWD models have 232 horsepower. Let's take a look at the 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid.

All-New Camry Features New Look and More Tech

The first thing you'll notice about the new Camry is its new exterior design with narrow headlights and a chain-link grille style. However, the exterior isn't the only significant change. The Camry also features a re-engineered suspension and braking system. More tech is also on the table, including driver-assist features like Safe Exit Alert and Blind Spot Monitor.

An Affordable Hybrid for Everyone

The four-door Camry is expected to start at a reasonable MSRP of under $29,000, which will no doubt be very attractive to drivers who are already familiar with the best-selling Toyota sedan. The Camry has plenty of fans, but the exclusive hybrid model might gain some more. With a striking appearance, legendary reliability, and satisfying performance, the Toyota Camry is poised to take on its segment with even more authority.

Industry-Leading Hybrid Technology

Toyota is well-known for its hybrid technology innovation, which began with the introduction of the Prius and has since dominated the industry. Hybrid cars continue to have a wide appeal to those who aren't ready to leave ICE cars behind and those who have no desire to go all-electric. Now in its ninth generation, the Toyota Camry is ready to make new fans.

Featuring a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with the fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System, the Camry makes 225 horsepower in the FWD model and 232 horsepower in the AWD Camry. The FWD model makes impressive gas mileage at 51 MPG combined.

For the first time on a hybrid, the new 2025 Toyota Camry will offer available electronic on-demand AWD across all four trims. The AWD system features a dedicated rear electric motor and is accessible on-demand when additional traction is necessary.

More Standard Features and Power

With the horsepower mentioned above figures, the new 2025 Toyota Camry has more standard power than any previous model. The hybrid system combines to make more power and offer better fuel economy than before. The new system is also well-tuned by Toyota engineers to give a more natural feel to the throttle response.

The new Camry rides on a retuned suspension for enhanced handling and a better ride. The SE and XSE trims feature a sport-tuned suspension for a thrilling driving experience. Drivers can also customize the Camry's driving experience with selectable drive modes such as Normal, Eco, and Sport.
