2025 Toyota Tundra Adds TRD Rally Package and More Upgrades
TRD Rally Package Leads List of New Features
The 2025 Toyota Tundra TRD is hitting dealer lots with a long list of upgrades, including a new Rally Package and 12,000-pound maximum towing capacity.
Along with standard features, there are several new options as well, including a power tailgate with knee lift assist and multifunction massaging front seats. Irwin Toyota is here to break down this new package for you.TRD Rally Package Takes Center Stage
The new Rally Package for the 2025 Toyota Tundra TRD draws inspiration from Baja racing heritage. Several enhancements go into this package, including 18-inch off-road wheels, all-terrain tires, Bilstein shocks, and skid plates. Mult-Terrain Select with Crawl Control combined with an electronic locking rear differential make this truck a true master of off-road terrain. Toyota didn't forget about the inside extras on this package. Red, orange, and yellow accents highlight the dash and SoftTex seats.Newly Available Massaging Seats
The front seat of your 2025 Toyota Tundra TRD can now be an oasis of comfort with available leather-trimmed seats with 10-way power adjustment and a massage function. You can use both upper and lower body massage functions with a range of intensities. The best part is that this is all controlled through the 14-inch multimedia touchscreen. The massaging seats can be used while driving or when parked and are standard on the 1794, Platinum, and Capstone models.Dual Powertrain Options
Two powertrains are available on the 2025 Toyota Tundra TRD. A twin-turbo V6 makes 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, while a hybrid powertrain combines the twin-turbo V6 with a motor generator. The latter powertrain makes up to 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque at an impressively low 2,400 rpm. On the hybrid powertrain, the motor generator delivers additional power through the transmission, and the electric assist, energy regeneration, and start-up functions are done through the hybrid components.
A Slew of Off-Road Upgrades
A long list of off-road upgrades is now standard on Tundra TRD Pro models, and Tundra models are equipped with the TRD Off-Road package. Some of these options include Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, Downhill Assist Control, an electronic locking rear differential, and a Multi-Terrain Monitor. With these extra features, you won't have any problems navigating various off-road adventures.Tow With Confidence
The 2025 Toyota Tundra TRD doesn't stop with building confidence off-road; it's also ready to go for easier towing. The Tundra now boasts 12,000 pounds of maximum towing capacity, in part due to the added chassis strength. However, it also offers a variety of neat features to make towing easier than ever. For example, the optional Panoramic View Monitor gives you a top-down view of the truck. A wireless trailer camera system is also newly available to enhance your towing experience.
