Deciding on a vehicle is a challenging process. It involves a lot of research, time and effort. Then, once you narrow down on a vehicle, you still have to decide which trim has the features you want for the price you need.

Exterior Styling

There are a few differences in the exterior offerings of these two trims, so let’s look at those in more detail.

The 2019 Toyota Sienna XLE gives you 17-inch wheels, a metallic front grille with chrome surround. The 2017 Toyota Sienna Limited gives you some luxury features for great looks and convenient function. These exterior features include 18-inch 10-spoke machined alloy wheels, a metallic front grille with SuperChrome surround, projector-beam halogen headlights with auto on/off feature and LED daytime running lights.

Both vehicles also give you color-keyed heated power outside mirrors with blind spot warning indicators, but only the Sienna Limited also gives you puddle lights, power-folding and memory features.

As you can see here, the exterior designs are fairly similar. The Limited gives you more enhanced design features, headlights and wheels as well as enhanced technology.

Interior Features

On the inside, there are a few more differences between these two vehicles. The Sienna XLE offers seating for up to eight, while the Limited gives you seating for seven with premium leather-trimmed second-row captain’s chairs and available lounge seating. The Limited also gives you premium leather-trimmed and multi-stage heated front seats as well as front and rear parking assist sonar.

Technology is another factor to look closer at. The Toyota Sienna XLE gives you audio, Bluetooth and voice command controls. However, much of the technology on the XLE is available not standard. You can upgrade to the Dual-View Blu-ray Entertainment System and the Entune Premium Audio with Integrated Navigation, but the XLE doesn’t come with it.

On the other hand, the Toyota Sienna Limited features a lot of technology standard. With this vehicle, you can get a 10-speaker sound system, hands-free phone connectivity, Driver Easy Speak, the Dual-View Blu-ray Entertainment Center, and the Entune Premium JBL Audio with Integrated Navigation and App Suite.

In the interior, we start to see a few more changes in what you get with each of these options. The Limited offers you a few more luxury options in regards to seating, and all of their advanced technology is standard not just available.

Pricing and Options

The starting price for the Toyota Sienna XLE is $36,310, while Toyota Sienna Limited starts at $42,800. Both of these vehicles have features and packages you can add on to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. However, these add-ons will change the price of the vehicle, so that is something to consider.

Which Trim Should You Buy?

Both of these trim options are great ones, so you just have to decide which option is the best for you. The XLE is will cost you less money, so if you are looking to get a bargain, that might be your perfect trim. The Limited gives you all the advanced technology and luxury features standard, so you get it all in one complete package. The Limited costs a little more, but it gives you more.

Which is best for you? That is for you to decide! Weigh your options and let us know if you have any questions!
