Good news for all you recent college graduates: Toyota has increased its College Grad Rebate to $750. This $750 rebate is available to students who have graduated within the past two years and is good towards the purchase or lease of a new Toyota car, truck, van, or SUV. To make it even easier for recent graduates to take advantage of this program, Toyota Financial Services (TFS) allows recent graduates to purchase or lease a vehicle with no money down and no payments for the first 90 days. To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following graduation, employment, insurance, and credit criteria: -Have graduated from an accredited four-year college, university, or nursing program within the past two years, or be scheduled to graduate from such a school or program in the next six months. -Have graduated from an accredited two-year college during the last two years, or be scheduled to graduate from one in the next six months. -Have graduated during the last two years from the two-year Toyota Technical Education Network (T-TEN) Program or any other two-year, post-secondary automotive program accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF). -Have completed in the past two years an electrician apprenticeship/certification program offered through either the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (NJATC) or the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). Irwin Toyota recently hosted an evening event for our customers to learn more about the completely redesigned 2013 RAV4 and 2013 Avalon.  The redesigned Avalon adds a whole new level of refinement to Toyota's flagship luxury sedan. A bold new grille and attractive lines are designed to add a youthful element to the Avalon and attract younger buyers. Looking at the 2013 RAV4, the most obvious change is that the iconic swing gate with a rear-mounted spare tire has been replaced with a more conventional lift gate, and the spare tire located under the trunk. Another big change to the RAV4 is something you can't see right away, but your wallet will be grateful for: it now only comes with a 4-cylinder engine, and achieves 31 MPG in the FWD model, and 29 MPG in the AWD model.

Did you know that a dirty cabin air filter can reduce your visibility in inclement weather??? When your cabin air filter becomes blocked by dirt & debris, it can result in much less airflow coming out of your defroster & vents. This can lead to slow or incomplete defrosting/demisting of your vehicles windshield & side windows. There is no set interval as to when to change your filter, it all depends on where you drive. However, when you service your vehicle at Irwin's, we will inspect your cabin air filter as part of our "Multi Point Inspection" and will advise you if we feel it needs replacing. You can also stop into our Parts Store & purchase a new filter for those who prefer to maintain their vehicle on a  Do-It Yourself basis.
